Story structure

Language Arts 2nd Grade S5-Describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action.

Ed Tech standard 5:Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.

This will help kids better understand what makes a story. As kids better understand the structure of a story they will be more successful in reading and writing. Many times kids don't get past the background part of a story but this gives kids the knowledge that it does get more exciting.
